The Rabbit Gathering

1. These(are) were baby rabbits. They (are) were a big rabbit family. The sister and brother rabbits (help) helped each other as they (grow up) grew up. They all (have) had brown fur coats with small white spots. The white spots (go) went away as they get older.

2. Baby rabbits (are) were born blind and helpless. They (are) were so weak, they (can) could barely move. They (use) used all of their muscles to (feel) felt their way around each other and the mother rabbit. (Can) could you imagine that? Luckily, they (are) were so little and new to the world, they (don’t) didn’t know what’s (going) was going on!

3. At first, all they (want) wanted to (drink) drank the mother rabbit’s milk. Later, as they (grow) grew up, they gain sensitive noses. They (come) came out of the rabbit hole with their mother and (watch) watched her sniff the air. Then they sniff too. They (see) saw if their mother (likes ) likedthe smell of the air or not. Soon, they (become) became very clever. They (know) knew one smell from another. They (learn) learnt how to (stay ) stayed away from big animals and how to (find) found food.
